A beautiful and authentic piece of Danish Mid-Century Modern furniture, with particularly attractive oak grain and elegant, understated proportions.
The desk measures 135 × 60 × 72.5 cm, making it a very practical size for a home office, study, bedroom or creative workspace. Its clean architectural lines, tapered legs and warm natural oak give it the characteristic Scandinavian look of the period without feeling overly heavy.
The desk has four drawers, with sculpted wooden handles and original locks. The original key is unfortunately missing, so the drawers currently cannot be locked. The drawers themselves remain perfectly usable.
The desk has been carefully cleaned and oiled and presents very well overall. The oak has a beautiful, natural patina and exceptionally pronounced grain.
There are some light signs of age and a visible water mark on the desktop, shown clearly in the photos. The mark does not affect the structure or functionality of the desk and could potentially be further reduced by a specialist if desired. I have deliberately avoided aggressive restoration in order to preserve the original veneer, character and patina of the piece.
