Yoshi is a sweet cat. He would be perfect for a....well, for all kinds of homes actually. No young kids though, he is not a big fan of chaos. He is super sweet and loves us and our teen-daughter. He is fine with his girlfriend here, but not with males. We don't recommend a group with males, 1 super social non-dominant female can work. However, for Yoshi we do make an exception that he can be solo placed. IF you can give him enough attention. He is lazy, does not play a lot, cuddles and follows you around. He is not used to roaming around outside, so we prefer a closed off garden, balcony or nothing.
Because he is an ex-tomcat (he has no children), he has hormones. He is CASTRATED already. However, he never sprayed here, but he is always used to having a playpen. For this reason, if we are realllyyyyyy picky, we could say we prefer a home with a garden/balcony/wintergarden or even have him freeroaming on a manege/stable, IF you live in a safe area. He really does love people though, so if you don't like petting or cuddling, don't repond ;-)
Yoshi had very bad coat quality because of his hormones. Uncastrated males sometimes get a very ''fat'' fur, and he also has a mega long fur. So we decided at his castration to have the vet give him a bit of a shorter haircut, so the hair -now without hormones- can recover and it is easier to groom and will grow back prettier. He is not naked and is still super pretty though, just not as long (like half the length now, still longer than a shorthair).
He will need a bit of time to adjust to new people, most likely, so when you come for a meeting don't expect him to come up to you immediately.
Oh and before I forget: he talks back. He loves talking to you. He ''flops'' down and shows his belly for pets immediately and loves eating. He needs to have a max amount of kibble, because otherwise he gets fat haha.
