It is with a heavy heart that I am parting with this masterpiece: an F# Pygmy 18 made from highly sought-after Ember Steel. If you are looking for an instrument with professional volume and dynamic tonal variety, this is it.
The Scale
The F# Pygmy is one of the most popular scales in the handpan worldmystical, grounding, and deeply resonant. With 18 notes (including bottom notes), this instrument offers immense compositional freedom for fast rhythms as well as meditative soundscapes.
The Material (Ember Steel)
Ember Steel is renowned for its extraordinarily long sustain and warm, crisp tone. It is significantly more rust-resistant than nitrided steel and responds to even the gentlest touch.
