Lessons start from where you are now and give you a clear way forward. Im Léna Ruisz, a violinist and qualified violin teacher based in Basel. I teach children and adults on both modern and Baroque violin, from the very first notes to advanced playing.

I want lessons to fit the person in front of me: what you can already do, what is difficult at the moment, and what you would like to learn next. You do not need to arrive with a perfect plan. You might be starting from scratch, returning to the violin after many years, or trying to solve something that has been frustrating you for a while. That is where we begin.
