The Silva Ranger Type 15 compass, often called "The Ranger," was first introduced in 1964. Designed as a luxury model at the time, it incorporated advanced features for professionals and hikers, such as a mirror sighting system, a built-in clinometer, an adjustable declination scale, and quadrant or degree markings. It was made entirely of plastic. I don't know exactly when it was manufactured.Very good condition.
