Rarität aus den 50ern, vor einigen Jahren für meine Tochter in den USA gefunden.
Größe ungefähr 128 (Maße siehe Fotos und Beschreibung)
Hier die Original-Beschreibung:
1950s Flannel-lined, "Blue Bell" brand, girls jeans. Soft, comfy, red plaid, flannel lining inside and sturdy denim fabric outside. Pockets reinforced with rivets. Side-zipper for smooth look in front.
Label saying "girls size 8" is in vintage (1950s) sizing. Given the length and adjustable snaps at waist, the size, in modern sizing, would fit a 10 - 12 year old.
Best to go by measurements, so here they are:
11" waist (or 22" circumference)
18" hips
33" long (un-cuffed)
This pair of jeans came from a family-owned department store in Quantico, Virginia that opened in 1928. When this store closed in the mid-50s, the family put sheets over the inventory and kept it untouched. When they re-opened the store in the mid-70s, they began selling their original inventory again, along with some contemporary items. No one was interested in the vintage things, except people like me (I owned a vintage clothing store for women, and wanted to dress my own little girl in vintage), so I collected a wonderful cache of vintage clothing for children which I am finally ready to part with.
