Jade Warriors second album is a study in contrasts. Powerful, straight forward rock compositions such as 'Three-Horned Dragon King' and 'We Have Reason To Believe' have been paired with gentle ballads of 'Bride Of Summer' and 'Yellow Eyes' along with the jazzy instrumentals 'Water Curtain Cave' and the extended brass-enriched jam 'Barazinbar'.

Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) appears on "Juju" and "Black Velvet".
Originally formed in 1965,this pioneering funk-rock band quickly became a leading live attraction in British clubs,jamming with Jimi Hendrix and providing the backing to the popular rock musical Catch My Soul . Their sole album appeared in 1970, and combines psychedelic funk with elements of jazz,progressive rock and soul,featuring guitar legend Peter Green on two tracks. Gass disbanded the following year ,when singer Bobby Tench joined The Jeff Beck Group
