This special edition and colorway was conceived as a consolation prize for ISRU Summer Camp app participants who weren't selected to purchase the Nike Mars Yard 3.0. It embodies the concept of resilience and perseverance, transforming defeat into opportunity.
In a decidedly unconventional approach, this surprise design retains the functional and handcrafted spirit of NikeCraft models. It features a canvas base, enhanced with gray suede overlays and milky accents. Details inspired by the ISRU program are also featured on the tongue, heel, and insole, perfectly recalling the unique origins of this collaboration. Rewarding effort rather than luck, the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe "Loser" is subject to several criteria. To be eligible, one had to participate in the ISRU Summer Camp and not be selected for Mars Yard 3.0.
