Baguette glass liqueur glasses, Egermann, Czechoslovakia.
Luxurious set of Bohemian glass liqueur glasses by Egermann manufacture. The beautifully decorated glasses are hand blown, hand cut, hand polished and hand painted with gold. This traditional Bohemian glassmaking style is known as "baguette glass" (Listovacka in Czech). This sophisticated technique involves a colored glass object being hand blown and then parts of the colored surface are removed by cutting to form the so called baguettes, which can be rectangular, round or square in shape. The parts surrounding the baguettes are hand painted with gold. The stem of the glasses are diamond cut. The process is very time and cost consuming, incorporating the craftsmanship of several individual glassmakers and decorators and thus making baguette glass objects luxurious and sought after items for collectors around the world.

The set consists of 2 glasses and is undamaged and intact.

Antico cucchiaio orientale in argento.
Antico cucchiaio in argento con manico a forma di cobra. Nella concavità ovale è disegnata una Triquetra o triqueta simbolo composto da tre pesci interconnessi, che segna l'intersezione di tre cerchi. È più comunemente un simbolo della Santissima Trinità (padre, figlio, spirito santo) usato dalla chiesa cristiana celtica, a volte stilizzata come tre pesci intrecciati.
Lo stesso disegno presente sul cucchiaio è stato ritrovato in una antica ciotola egiziana.
Misure:18x5cm.

Antiker silberner Löffel mit kobraförmigem Griff. In der ovalen Konkavität ist ein Triquetra- oder Triqueta-Symbol aus drei miteinander verbundenen Fischen dargestellt, das den Schnittpunkt von drei Kreisen kennzeichnet. Es ist am häufigsten ein Symbol der Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit (Vater, Sohn, Heiliger Geist), das von der keltischen christlichen Kirche verwendet wird, manchmal stilisiert wie drei ineinander verschlungene Fische.
Das gleiche Muster auf dem Löffel wurde in einer alten ägyptischen Schüssel gefunden.

Goffredo Castellini studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and trained as a ceramist at the Faenza factory Faventia Ars, a true hotbed of great ceramists, of which he is co-owner. Here he worked until 1957. He was a talented decorator and in 1942 he took over a ceramic laboratory where, after the war, he created very high quality ceramics in unique pieces inspired especially by the ancient.

20th century Russian silver cigarette case, richly gilded interior, rectangular shape with curved corners, beautifully decorated hinged lid. a sapphire cabochon mounted push release button. The zipper is very tight and the closure is very strong, it snaps when closed.
