Ich biete ausschliesslich Online-Klavierunterricht auf Englisch für engagierte Schüler an, die mehr suchen als das reine Erlernen von Stücken: Klang, Technik, Rhythmus, Phrasierung, musikalisches Verständnis und eine klare Übestrategie.
Fully online piano lessons in English for committed children, teenagers and adults who want more than simply learning pieces.
I am a Russian-trained concert pianist and piano professor with more than 20 years of teaching experience. My background includes studies at the Moscow Conservatory College and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, postgraduate training, concert performances, international tours, recordings, masterclasses, and many years of academic-level piano teaching.
My lessons are for students who need a structured, serious and musically deep approach. I teach piano as an integrated system: sound, movement, rhythm, phrasing, memory, musical understanding and intelligent practice.
Many students practise a lot, but still do not understand why their playing does not sound free, expressive, stable or convincing. In my lessons, we work not only on the piece itself, but on the mechanisms behind good playing: how to listen, how to move, how to shape a phrase, how to organise rhythm, how to understand the score and how to practise independently.
In the lessons we work on:
sound and body coordination: technique as a natural tool for tone and expression
rhythm and pulse: not only counting, but feeling musical movement clearly
phrasing, tone quality, articulation and dynamics
reading and understanding the score: harmony, voices, form and musical logic
memory and reliability through structure, not only repetition
intelligent practice methods: knowing what to fix, how to work and how to check the result
classical repertoire from beginner to advanced level
preparation for exams, performances or long-term musical development
My approach combines the discipline of the Russian piano school with a clear, analytical and musical method. I do not teach technique separately from music: physical movement, sound, phrasing and musical intention are always connected.

The first meeting includes an assessment of the students current level, repertoire, goals and main technical-musical priorities. A separate one-time diagnostic session is also possible for students who want a clear professional view on what is blocking their progress.

Für Schüler, die viel üben, aber nicht genau verstehen, warum der Fortschritt stagniert, biete ich auch eine einmalige Klavier-Standortbestimmung an.
Die Online-Besprechung findet auf Englisch statt. Der schriftliche Kurzbericht mit den wichtigsten Beobachtungen und einem konkreten Übeplan kann auf Deutsch erstellt werden.

Nach der Standortbestimmung arbeiten wir in 4 Online-Lektionen gezielt am wichtigsten Engpass: Lesen, Rhythmus, Klang, Bewegung, Phrasierung, Gedächtnis oder Übestrategie.
Gesamtpreis: 500 CHF
Regular students usually reserve a fixed weekly lesson time. Lessons are paid in advance in blocks of 4 lessons.
