Pakon F135 Plus film minilab scanner with laptop + dustcover
Selling my Pakon F135 Plus minilab scanner along with a laptop running the software and a dust cover to prevent dust. The scanner is in very good condition and does not have any stains or yellowing that they usually do.
The Pakon F135 Plus can scan a whole uncut roll of film in minutes at ~6 megapixel resolution, and comes with software for automatic inversion. It has digital ICE for removing dust on the negative. It's primarily designed for scanning color negative film.
It comes with an XP laptop (technically a windows 7 laptop downgraded to XP with the highest specs supported by XP) for running the scanning software natively.
There are two main programs:
1. PSI is your standard 35mm scanning software. It makes scanning the roll and adjusting colors, contrast, rotation etc easy. It works best with color negative film, but can be used for scanning black and white film as long as the dust detection is disabled. The dust detection uses infrared to mask where the dust is and then PSI automatically heals it.
2. TLXClientDemo is the more barebones software but can be used for scanning nonstandard frames (e.g. half frame and panoramic) and exporting 14 bit raws for inverting with alternative software. It's especially convenient for scanning half frame as you can drop in the whole roll and get out 72 scanned frames without much trouble. It has a higher learning curve than PSI though.
There is a very supportive facebook group for Pakon with regards to troubleshooting, figuring out the software, etc. I have scanned >100 rolls with this one. Selling because I mostly shoot 120 now, and this scanner only does 35mm.
