Frank Will (1900-1950) French painter, born March 13, 1900 in Nanterre (Hauts de Seine). Died December 29, 1950. 20th century. French. Painter of urban landscapes, painter of seascapes, watercolourist. Post-Impressionism. Son of the painter Frank Myers Boggs, known as Frank Boggs, born December 6, 1855 in Springfield, Ohio, died August 8, 1926 in Meudon, Franco-American The painter Frank Will was a pupil of his father. He abandoned his studies in architecture and devoted himself to painting. He is the figure par excellence of Montmartre, with close ties to General Paul and Leprin. In 1922, he made his first trip to the Normandy coast. He has been on permanent display at the Georges Petit gallery since 1929. He then exhibited with Hector Brame before contracting with Henri Bureau. With Leprin, he visited Avalon, Moret-sur-Loing in Auxerre. His works are displayed in the Museums: - Paris "Montmartre Museum" - Saint Malo "City History Museum"
