Fresh and vibrant notes of lemon and lime, a sprinkle of sherbet, leading into a sweet vanilla and coconut, with a hint of dried fig and raisin.

Orange zest and fizzy sherbet with a lemon freshness, gentle oak and subtle ginger spice, leading into a deep dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart with a honey drizzle.

Macallan 1989 31 Jahre Cadenhead's
Macallan 31 Years Old Cadenhead?s Shop Odense is a single malt from the prestigious Macallan distillery, bottled by Cadenhead for their Whisky Shop in Odense (Denmark). Those Danes get the good stuff! But Danes are not greedy, as you can see, as this one ended up in our shop too. Thank you Denmark! Look at the pretty label too, displaying the ship in Odense. The whisky was distilled in 1989 and matured in a bourbon barrel for 31 years. In 2020, it was bottled at a cask strength of 45.3%. Only 108 bottles have been released.

Glendalough 13 Jahre Mizunara
This very special Glendalough 13 Year Old single malt is the first ever Irish release to be finished in Mizunara Japanese oak puncheons after first being matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. It comes to you with hints of spice, citrus and apricots with a touch of vanilla, pine, and creaminess from the oak. Classic sandalwood, lychee and coconut from the Mizunara is a pleasant surprise considering this is just a finish. Mizunara Oak, or Quercus Crispula, are notoriously difficult to work. The tree doesn?t grow as straight as it?s American or European cousins and is also prone to leakage. The trees also need to be very old to harvest for barrels meaning the cost is even higher. We think the trouble it worth it! Very limited batch and one of the earliest Irish whiskeys to be finished as such.
